OlyCAP gets Regence Foundation Grant for Oral Health
Port Townsend, WA-12/31/2008
 |
Early in December OlyCAP received a $25,000 grant from the Regence Foundation to support expanded services through OlyCAP's Oral Health Center. The grant was one of three health related grants made in western Washington supporting organizations working to remove the barriers medically underserved Washingtonians face in seeking quality, affordable care. The grant will provide support for enhanced services in OlyCAP clinic facilities in Port Townsend and Forks. |

The clinics improve access to dental care for low and moderate income community members and help limit ER visits for dental care.
Tim Hockett, OlyCAP's Executive Director, said "Regence has been very generous to OlyCAP over the years. They donated furnishings and fixtures to support our offices in Port Townsend and Port Angeles in the past and now they are helping the Oral Health Center. We are very grateful for the Foundation's support."
